Integrative medicine
Integrative medicine and health promotion: is intentionally scientifically holistic, sustainable rational, personalised human. It has the whole person in sight, builds on evidence. Uses all accepted therapeutic approaches, procedures and methods for the sake of optimal healing and health promotion. Renews the importance of the relationship between therapist and patient.
Anthroposophic medicine
The term anthroposophy is composed of the Greek words "anthropos" – meaning human being – and "sophia" – meaning wisdom. This means that the self-awakening human being, in connection with nature, the cosmos, and their destiny, is at the center. This is also true for anthroposophic medicine.
Anthroposophic medicine is not alternative but integrative medicine, which is based on conventional scientific Western medicine, but supplements it with spiritual-scientific perspectives. In diagnostics and therapy, it applies all methods and tools available to Western medicine: medical technology such as computed tomography and magnetic resonance imaging (CT and MRI), surgeries, chemically produced synthetic drugs, or intensive care.
